Free agency is one of the most exciting times of the offseason for NFL fans. Hope springs eternal – and we are all left wondering if our favorite team will be able to land the free agent that can take our franchise to the next level.
Sadly, there are a surprising amount of flops in NFL free agency, especially when it comes to teams handing out big deals to “proven” talent.
Let’s take a look back at some of the most disappointing monster contracts handed out by every NFL team…
But before we get started, we want to clarify that this is a long-term forecast. We’re talking at least three to five years down the road. Not just the next season or two.
