When your life and career exist in the public eye—and you have to answer to and for everything on a week-to-week basis, sometimes players can lose track of what’s a valid reason or explanation—versus what’s nothing more than a pitiful excuse.
That being said… we have seen NFL players make some of the DUMBEST excuses of all time! Both for issues off the field… or lack of performance on it—and everything in between!
