The way the current NFL is going, it’ll only get harder for any running back to piece together a Hall of Fame career.
That’s because, not only are their careers getting shorter and shorter, but the running back position is also being utilized a lot less in this pass-happy era of offense in the NFL… not to mention the dramatic shift to running back committees over the years.
There is no shortage of superstar running backs in today’s NFL, but like it or not, the majority of them won’t get any real consideration from the Canton committee. That said, there are certainly still some running backs who are in the midst of Hall of Fame careers. Who are they?
We’re about to sort it all out, as we look at five NFL running backs who will make the Hall of fame, and five who won’t.
