Grade Harrison’s first Chiefs Mock Draft of the season! A, B, C, D or F?
The Chiefs sit with 11 picks in the NFL Draft this year, so look for Veach and Andy Reid to field several trades. This Chiefs mock draft doesn’t include any trades, but moving up or down in Round 1 is definitely a possibility.
NFL Mock Draft: With the 30th overall pick in the 1st round, Harrison has the Chiefs drafting Broderick Jones, an offensive tackle from Georgia. Jones brings size and athleticism to the offensive line and will provide stability for quarterback Patrick Mahomes. In the second round, he went with Cedric Tillman, a wide receiver from Tennessee. Tillman is a big target who possesses the speed to take the top off defenses. He will give Mahomes another weapon to add to his arsenal of pass-catchers. Will McDonald IV, an edge defender from Iowa State would bring versatility and athleticism to the Chiefs’ pass-rushing unit.
In the fifth round of this Chiefs NFL Mock Draft, Kansas State Wildcats running back Deuce Vaughn was still available – should the Chiefs take the speedy local product? Let us know in the comments!
