There is no shortage of NFL free agents who promise to make immediate impacts with their new clubs in 2023. We’re talking guys like Orlando Brown Jr. with the Cincinnati Bengals, Derek Carr with the New Orleans Saints, and Javon Hargrave with the San Francisco 49ers.
But there were also several eyebrow-raising free agent signings that leave us with more questions than answers. Based on several red flags — be it their injury history, inconsistent production or other factors — these 10 free agents who signed new deals SHOULD have been avoided like the plague!
