Alex Smith won Comeback Player of the Year honors in 2020 after helping the Washington Football Team to an NFC East division title. This came two years after Smith suffered a life-threatening leg fracture that needed 17 surgeries.
Looking at the field for 2021, there’s a long list of notable NFL players who are looking to bounce back after missing most of the 2020 campaign. Here are 10 players that we project to be in the race for the Comeback Player of the Year honors.
