Colin Kaepernick has been working out on the field in the hopes of an NFL comeback. He recently said in an interview that he quote: ‘absolutely’ wants to get back in the NFL. On the ‘I Am Athlete podcast,’ Kaepernick was asked if he was willing to take a minimum salary position to get back, saying quote: ‘I know I have to find my way back in. So, yeah, if I have to come in as a backup, that’s fine. But that’s not where I’m staying. And when I prove that I’m a starter, I want to be able to step on the field as such. I just need that opportunity to walk through the door.’ Marcellus Wiley and Emmanuel Acho react to Kaepernick’s sit-down interview.
