It’s already been over two years since Patrick Mahomes guided the Kansas City Chiefs to a Super Bowl 54 championship – their first in half a century.
In some ways, it’s hard to believe it’s been that long. Mahomes was far and away the NFL’s best QB from 2018 to 2020, so it actually kinda feels like a travesty that he only has the one ring.
It’s easy for football fans, scouts, analysts and prognosticators to forecast several more rings for Mahomes. Such is life when you’re the best quarterback of your generation. But absolutely nothing is guaranteed in the NFL these days.
