They say that the NFL is a business… and, well, there is no denying that. Hundreds of millions of dollars are regularly changing hands and pretty much everything the league does is in the pursuit of more profits.
At the organizational level, it is much of the same. Franchises will do everything that they can to protect their business… even if that means putting extremely controversial clauses in the contracts of their players!
