– Jonah Williams Trade? NFL Insider Ian Rapoport reports that Bengals’ OT Jonah Williams has requested a trade after the Orlando Brown signing. Williams’ PFF grades have progressively declined over the past 2 seasons as he’s allowed 85 pressures since 2021. Is he good enough to trade for and move Braxton Jones to right tackle in 2023?
– Sign Yannick Ngakoue? Former Bears front office scout Greg Gabriel reports that the Indianapolis Colts don’t plan on re-signing Yannick Ngakoue after signing Samson Ebukam. Ngakoue has 8+ sacks in all 7 seasons of his NFL career and would give the Bears a quality pass rusher. Ngakoue is not a great run stopper but the Bears’ defense needs to pressure opposing quarterbacks more frequently after recording an NFL-worst 20 sacks during the 2022 NFL Season.

– Georgia DT Jalen Carter is still considered a Top-10 pick in the 2023 NFL Draft according to NFL scouts and GMs.
– New Bears’ RB D’Onta Foreman says he signed with Chicago to be “the guy.” He’ll compete with Khalil Herbert for the RB1 role after David Montgomery signed with the Detroit Lions.
